I have had all good intentions of keeping up with this blog but sometimes life gets in the way. I did add a few posts, but nothing like what I wanted. It started 2 years ago when I lost my job after the online pet supply company I worked for sold the business and it was moved out of state. I was lucky to get a job at the vet hospital I had worked at in the past and I decided it was the best time to go to school full-time and finish up my Associate Degree in health Information Technology. I finished last August and got a job last June working in a hospital Cancer Registry; it was the job I wanted so I am so thankful. I had to sit for my Registered Health Information Technician certification exam so I spent major time studying. It was worth it when I passed. Now I just have to sit for my Cancer Tumor Registrar exam in the fall and I will be done!

My fur family has suffered some losses. I lost 3 ferrets, both my rabbits, my cat Tyke and my dog Geo over the past year. I have also added several ferrets, a new dog, a new cat and a parrot. I’ll be introducing them to you over the next few weeks and updating My Furry Friends page so be sure to check back. And have a good holiday weekend!
